These terms govern your use of MyResumeDraft. By using our resume builder, cover letter generator, and ATS score checker, you agree to the rules outlined below. In short: use the tools fairly, don't abuse the system, and understand that you are responsible for your own resume content.

1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to MyResumeDraft ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing or using our website and tools (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service, whether or not they choose to create an account (though our core tools do not require one).
2. Use of Our Services
MyResumeDraft provides free, browser-based tools to help you create resumes and cover letters, and to check your resume's alignment with job descriptions (ATS score checker). The Service is designed to process your inputs locally on your device whenever possible.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Service for your own personal or professional job-seeking purposes, subject to your compliance with these Terms.
3. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the content you type, paste, or upload into the resume builder and ATS checker. By using our tools, you agree to the following responsibilities and restrictions:

4. Intellectual Property
You retain all ownership rights to the personal content, text, and images you input into the resume and cover letter builders. By using the Service, you grant us a temporary, limited license solely to process your inputs to generate your document previews and downloadable files.
The Service itself—including the website design, template layouts, code, graphics, and the MyResumeDraft name and logo—is owned by us and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or resell our templates or software without our written permission.
5. Disclaimers & Accuracy
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive to provide a useful and reliable tool, we do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will result in you securing a job.
- ATS Checker: Our ATS score checker provides a general estimate of how well your resume aligns with a job description. It is not a guarantee of how an employer's specific Applicant Tracking System will rank your document.
- Formatting: We attempt to generate PDFs that are easily readable by automated systems, but we cannot account for every parsing engine currently in use by employers.
- Advice: Any templates or generated text are not professional career or legal advice. You are responsible for the final review of your documents.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyResumeDraft and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use of the Service.
Because we do not store your resume content on our servers, we are not liable for any data loss resulting from browser crashes, accidental tab closure, or failure to download your documents. You are solely responsible for saving and backing up your work.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service may rely on third-party content delivery networks (CDNs) and libraries to generate documents or operate efficiently. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their actions, outages, or privacy practices. Your use of the Service acknowledges that these third-party requests may occur in the background of your browser.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason. Because no accounts are required for the core tools, "termination" generally refers to blocking your IP address from accessing the site.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Any content you have already downloaded to your device remains yours to keep.
9. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the Service after any changes signifies your acceptance of the new Terms.
